Is iPhone 5 the biggest reset for an iOS device?

I believe the lightning add on is only a stop gap measure until lightning reaches parity with the old cable.

you are commingling hardware and software. Apple Maps and no Youtube are not unique to the iPhone 5.

I'd say the iPhone 4 is the biggest reset-- retina display, total design reset, and first Apple designed CPU.

iOS 2 is still the biggest iOS reset. The appstore is the single biggest addition Apple ever made and I have a hard time imagining what they could add that would be bigger.

That's not a "reset of an iOS device" per se, as what came before it wasn't iOS. It'd be like comparing the iPod Classic to iPod Touch.
