This may be a stupid question but I was wondering if the iPhone is designed to always be turned on or if it is recommended by apple that it is shut down every so often. I know this is not the case with Blackberry's as they are designed to remain on 24/7.

Also, in relation to the battery, should I drain it as much as possible and re-apply a full charge or should I just dock it even if its 3/4 full?

Thanks
