As many of us are getting new iPhones soon, I had a question in mind. I remember a time when iPhone backups either thru the cloud or through iTunes wasn't an exact copy. For example, certain settings were still not backed up and apps were not organized in their respective folders.

Are backups now an exact copy of your old phone when you port it to the new one??

If not, what are the key things that are not backed up?

Passwords (for good reason, obviously)
