Can anybody say how bright is the iphone display. Is it easy to see what's on the screen on a sunny day?
If you know the measure in cd/m2 that would be great.

Sorry I have no idea of measurements, but I would say the iPhone has the brightest display of any phone I've owned and I've owned a lot! Far better than all the HTC Devices i've had, I can use it outdoors on a dim setting of about 20%, only needing to raise this if its really bright! - there is an auto brightness that should take care of that too, though I've got it set off for the sake of battery life

Launch day and a few months after for original iPhones last year have really good screens/brightness. That's what I'm going to miss with my iPhone 3G. I think around after november Apple changed the brightness or reolution of the iPhones because my phone is much brighter and nicer than my friends' and they purchased after december. The iPhone 3G has the same brightness as my friends' iPhones.
