Is iPhone downgradable?

Hith all this firmware mess, one question hit my mind:

If i buy an iphone and it comes with the new firmware version, is it possible to downgrade it?

No, at this time it is not possible because of the vast changes they made to the firmware structure which made it much harder to break into.
