Hey everyone,
I'm a "happy" owner (really happy actually) of a C1D MacBook Pro with ATI x1600 graphics card and I'm experiencing the famous GPU-something_else-causing-overheat problem. In other words, I can't play games since my system goes nuts and locks up. For World of Warcraft I've found a pretty elegant solution - a command "/console maxfps X" which limits maximum rendered frames per second helping GPU and system overall deal with whatever issues they have there. So I was wondering if such thing is possible in other games. Probably some kind of third-party software for controlling the video card settings and it's performance. Thanks in advance!
