Is iSight/iChat AV comp. w/ Windows AIM

i'm deciding on whether i should buy an iSight or not to accompany my iBook purchase for college. if i use iSight and iChat with my AIM username, and i have another person using the Windows version of AIM, is it still possible to have a 1 on 1 video chat? on the apple site it only mentions apple users but im not sure about the windows world. thanks in advance for the input
