Hello,

I recently noticed my icons are always dark, even in Light Mode and thought it was a bug of the latest beta. But know after the update it was still the same.

Now I found out, that changing the wallpaper from an almost black one to something brighter fixed it. But didn't find any settings for icon color in the wallpaper settings.

Does anyone know if this is on purpose or a bug that the black wallpaper is only possible with dark icons?

I installed 18 RC and I'm using dark mode but none of the icons are dark.
I wonder what's going on.

You are right, now the icons are always bright with that blue background. When I use the black one they are always dark. Until two beta versions ago everything worked as it should.

Those are the ones I used, just standard stuff from Apple:

The settings are found by long pressing on the home screen and choosing Edit, Customize.

No problems here with black wallpaper.

If the settings aren't changing anything, try deleting the wallpaper, restarting the phone, and setting it up again.
