I'm thinking about buying a MBP 15inch with max specs, 2.5ghz i7, high res anti glare screen and 4gb ram.

I will mainly be using it for:
Final Cut Pro
Gaming - not maximum settings but high for games like battlefield with Ambient Occlusion turned off and anti aliasing also turned off as the screen is quite small compared to my pc rig...

I want to be able to do all of these things while on the go, hence going with the 15 inch, as I travel a lot. Are there any small things I should know about? Like if I disconnect the power-cord will the graphics card perform worse? How long will the GPU (AMD not intel integrated) last if I game to the max?

Any thoughts? Thanks

Instead of creating a brand new thread, why not post this question in one of the other TWO that are related to your question? Both threads have recent activity today even!!

Is now a good time to buy a MacBook Pro?

Help me decide between the new base model 15" or the 17"

Maybe a mod will merge....
