Ok, so like everyone else, I am majorly disappointed that Apple didn't bother updating the iMac and the Mac Mini but I was also waiting for Macworld to find out if anything was happening with the iPhone.

Now, I'm not particularly fussed that they weren't updated, but I'm just wondering if now is a good time to buy or not. The buyers guide says 'Don't Buy - Updates soon' but wanted to know peoples thoughts. Last year, Apple doubled the memory on the iPhones in February so is their any chance this could happen again this February?

I Think the Next iPhone will be 3.0

Every June/July a New iPhone, and a new OS Update.

Makes sense to me!

I don't see them updating the iPhone for another year or so. They may come out with the 32GB, but thats all I think.

I just want them to get back to laptops and desktops for a little bit.

Thanks for all your comments guys :) I've just taken the plunge and got back from the Apple Store with a 16GB iPhone 3G in toe :D :D :D

Congrats. Like the other posters I would think that a new iPhone is many months away (e.g. November) so enjoy...
