I have no clue if this is a virus or some other annoying bug, but I keep getting a message/notification from Finder telling me that it does not know with which application to open fwUi...... I have nooooo idea what this is, I also thought there weren't any viruses for Macs?

You are right, there are none for OS X so I'm not sure why you think you have one!
from the looks if it, your comp is attempting to automatically open a file called fwUi. is that the entire name of the file? does it have any file extension at the end? how long has it been happening and what was it you were doing shortly before this started to occur? does it happen while any particular app is in use? does it happen continuously or only when you login? see if in System Preferences, Accounts, you have anything under Login Items.
