I got mine and the wife's at apple. We switched from AT&T to Sprint. We have no issues with Sprint.

Yeah, we are lucky. We're in an area where we were dropping calls like crazy on AT&T. Data is much slower than AT&T, obviously, but still good enough to stream music and use maps. And the calls have been great. Clear with no drops.

I also have no problems on Sprint....then again, I hate to talk on the phone, so that's what mine is used for the least.

How? The avg sprint speeds I see are .4 Mbps while AT&T avg is like 3-4mpbs. Im glad I get 7-9 on my 4S

All I know is that the AT&T speeds/call drop ratio in downtown Chicago is abysmal.

I prefer to buy directly from Apple, regardless of the carrier. Of course the bonus reward cash from my credit card makes that a no-brainer.

I don't get all the carrier bashing. Different carriers work better in different areas. Where I live AT&T is horrible, no 3G and so so voice coverage. Just a ways up the road they 4G and are great. It's all a matter of where you are.

Keep in mind that Sprint has a 14 day return policy while Apple has a 30 day return policy. I purchased from Apple because of this!

Not sure. We would drop calls all the time. The data speeds have been good on streaming media. Only takes an extra few seconds to load web pages which is no big deal. I use more than 2gb of data a month also so this helps having the unlimited plan.
