I notice with my iPad, I'm far less inclined to "eject" the device from iTunes.

Does anybody else just pull the plug without ejecting first? Is there any real danger in this?

No danger. In order to use wifi sync, you cannot "eject" the device from iTunes. If you do, the iPad and iTunes cannot communicate with one another.

I'm not sure if it was technically ever a "real" problem. I think I remember some getting corrupt iTunes databases, though.
