Is it just me…I got an extra hour of battery life with the update

So I installed the Snow Leopard update and went to a local Tea House to study. Got 4 hours when I normally get 3…(the battery wasn't even fully charged to begin with, maybe 80-90%) and I'm using the first generation A1181 MacBook.
