Is it just me? Log-Out on Lion

I just noticed today that when i log out on my macbook pro - when the system returns to the login screen, and they gray wallpaper should show - before it turns completely gray its a shade of blue/gray then turns to gray...

But I haven't noticed my MBP doing it, perhaps because it's not an issue!?
