iPod touch Is It Just Me? Not The Real Deal.

It's hard to explain but I have a weird feeling that the new upcoming iPod Touch 3G will be somewhat of a "Prototype" to see how sales and etc goes. I know that the previous one was just speaker and new hardware but for some reason the new one doesn't seem "right."

The camera is good but we all thought that a Mic, 64 GB, Lower Price due to 64, maybe a GPS and some other functions.

I know I'm just saying my thoughts out and dont mind if I get flamed or being called an idiot. It's a weird feeling .

I'll sitll buy the new one but just feels really weird.

If it makes the OP feel better, I had this feeling back when "iPod 3,1" was discovered in the 3.0 firmware (not really, had a feeling since the 2G iPod was released).

I can see that. Maybe for the rumored tablet? Honestly though, I don't care how much of a tester it is, just so long as they release another smash hit

Heh. The iPod stopped being a music player a long time ago.

Adding a full media player, larger screen, touch display, Wi-Fi, applications, games, etc., just made a fun PDA.

What else can you keep adding to it? Well, you could go all the way to make it an iPhone without the phone capability. So, this means, GPS, mic, camera, etc.

Every device has new technology that is being tested for the next device. Why would the next iPod touch be any different? Is it for the rumored tablet? Who knows...

Nobody except a selected few know exactly what is going to be announced this week.

We should be patient!
