is it just me or does slingbox app not have a way to turn cable box on?

i can only seem to use this if i leave thecable box on.. if someone turns it off, i dont seem to have a way to turn the box on from my phone.. am i missing something or is this an enormous oversight?

Click on the Remote icon, scroll three screens to the left with your finger, you will see the power button there.
