I find the silver rim around the home button looks better on the black. I am a fan of the white, so now when I do buy it I have no idea which one now.

Just buy both. You can switch sims based on your feel for any given day.

I have an iPhone 5 Black and my friend bought the White version, same capacity, and we do swap from time to time.
Right now I have his white model and I he has mine.
But for the iPhone 5S I am getting black and my sister will get the gold model and we plan to do the same, swap from time to time.
The space grey looks a lot nicer with the screen off but white looks great when showing off ios7.
The rim for the Touch ID around the home button is only silver on the White/Silver iPhone 5S. It is "space grey"for the Space Grey version and gold for the gold version.
When you see them in person you'll make the decision, I think that the space gray looks really nice on photos for now
I love the new grey and black. Can't stand the gold, utterly hideous and I already have the white 5 (dirt magnet).
That being said, I'm not sure if I can either warrant, nor need this upgrade - as much as I'd like a new phone, I don't think it'll end up being worth the expense!

Im getting a settlement soon, so I would like to upgrade (even though I just bought the iPhone 5) for the camera. If I wasn't getting the settlement I probably wouldn't be upgrading. Also going to buy an iPad
