I have the Milanese loop that came as default with my Series 2. I notice that I have to periodically tighten the strap throughout the day. Is this to be expected, or do I have a dud?

I've been using a ML for well over a year. A few friends of mine have one as well. We all find that depending on movement it does loosen up during the day. I usually adjust or tighten it once in a while.

The 3 non-apple m bands all loosen up throughout the day.
I think is unrealistic not to expect them to.

The Milanese loop is the only band I don't own because of the constant loosening.

Yeah it loosens up VERY easily. I hated it and returned it after a week, just too annoying to have to pull it tight a couple of times every hour. I'm a bit OCD about my watch staying at the top of my wrist though, I can't stand if it slides down even a little bit.

Same here. Unless it's on a really warm day, then I have it a little more loose, so the watch is not stuck to my wrist. Especially when wearing the Flueroastamer bands.
