So I managed to get a 32 GB Space Grey iPhone 5s early Saturday morning (somehow nabbed the last one in my state's area). :D

What I'm finding wonderfully refreshing, however, is how solid and sturdy the new redesigned home button feels. With previous iPhones, I felt as if the home button was a bit wobbly or loose at times (such as if I used my thumb to try moving it around even slightly). With the new sapphire covered button, it just feels much more premium to me. (the metallic ring around it and the Touch ID functionality certainly helps, too!)

What are your opinions on the new redesigned home button?

I love the fingerprint sensor. Makes my phone much more secure and a hell of a lot more convenient to log in.

As for the new feel of it, don't worry, your brain will get adjusted to it over time. It's not better or worse, just different.
