I swear that ever since I performed the jailbreak my battery life has improved! Anybody else noticed improved battery life since jailbreaking?

Just wondering. I have been on this thing consistently for the last 3 hours and it started at 100% and now it's at 65%. Usually I have to charge the 5 twice a day.
Mods, can we clamp down on frivolous posts? That meme is played out, go find another.
As far as battery life I really never noticed a difference on previous JBs.. This one may be different, but since I have zero tweaks installed (not for my lack of trying) I won't know. I plan to go pretty heavy on the tweaks this time since the IP5 has a bit more under the hood than my 3G did.
The jailbreak has been out a couple of hours and you think that's enough to make an accurate judgement on battery life?
My neighbor's daughter's boyfriend's mom's boyfriend's daughter's neighbor said the same thing.
Maybe we should clamp down on pointless threads that ask ridiculous questions. You have gained root access by jailbreaking how exactly would that improve battery life?
A message board is about discussion, if you feel a post is stupid, so both of us a favor and not participate.

Maybe you can shed some insight on the jailbreak. It's a forum for asking questions, is it not? You don't have to respond, just pass over it and move on. Just posting on what I noticed. Without knowing anything about your usage it sounds like you've got a battery issue my friend.
That's why I asked? Maybe I do so I was wondering what the deal is.
I use it a lot throughout the day. Leave house at 7 am and by 2 pm I need to charge, down to 20%. Today not the case after jail breaking at 9:50 am. It's still at 56% right now.

I was not part of the jailbreak team not that I ever claimed to be I was simply stating what a jailbreak does I didnt realise that I had to actually make a jailbreak to have a basic understanding of what it actually does. It really is a shame you didnt take your own advice and
What kind of usage do you usually have with your phone? Lots of streaming/video/bluetooth?
