Is it me, or is this the toughest wait ever for an Apple product?

For me its been very painful. I sold my 27 inch corei7 late 2009 iMac one week before the announcement. So I have been close to 2 months without a real desktop.
I thought maybe a 2-3 week wait from time of annoncement to delivery. Never imagine a 2 month wait.
My wife said never again will she allow me to sell our only working computer and have to wait this long. (Our 2 year old broke our very nice Sony Vaio $1300 laptop 3 months ago).
Ugh the wait is killing me.
I will also get windows laptop soon also. Just don't want the first gen windows 8 laptop that are out either. That's why I didn't replace the laptop immediately.
I did use an HP envy all in one 23 inch I got at Costco. My wife hated windows 8 touchscreen so that went back in 2 weeks.

Oh I don't know. Have you ever heard of the Mac Pro?
Yep - had two of them, lost interest when the iMacs started kicking so much ass (around 2009?)
