Is it normal for an Ipad Air to drain 1% every 6-7 minutes while browsing over wifi?

So I recently bought my ipad air, and I noticed that it drains 1% after 6-7 minutes while I'm browsing. I've used iphone/ipod before but I'm new to using an ipad so I don't have any idea if its normal for the battery to drain like that?

btw, Im using ipad air on ios 7.1.2

Sounds like you are getting 11.6 hours of battery life. That's pretty good. Once it starts draining 5-6% every 6-7 minutes then you should start to worry.

That's about right. Honestly, I have turned off the percentage meter and I notice I worry less about battery drain. And guess what? I get the same amount of battery life with or without the meter turned on.

Yeah, seems about right. It does depend on what other things you have running in the background on the iPad but those numbers are probably average.
