I bought brand new iPhone 6. it wont turn on out of the box because battery is almost zero. it that normal for brand new iPhone?

Depends how long it's been sat there. Batteries drain over time. Charge it up fully and enjoy

It happens with some new iPhones. Apple's recommendation for long term storage is to keep the battery at 50%. As long as your phone holds a charge, it should be fine after a few charging cycles.

It's normal for any battery equipped electronic device to do so when the charge is completely depleted.

So its normal? I dont have to send it back for a replacement?

My iPhone 5 was completely flat out of the box and it took something like 15 minutes to even show the USB connection/empty battery icon in the centre of the screen. It did eventually start charging and performed ok though.
