I just bought a Series 10 Natural Titanium and the part where the sensor meets my skin bothers me. It seems like the sensor sticks to my skin and doesn't really move around, even with a looser band. I have to pick it up off my skin to move it, it doesn't slide around at all. That feeling has been bothering me. I am not sure if maybe it is because the Titanium watches are heavier? Would switching to the Aluminum help? I have washed both my skin and the watch on the bottom with a damp paper towel with a tiny bit of soap on it but that doesn't help. Has anyone else had this issue, or am I going crazy?

I've got a fair few watches from the Apple Watch, digital watches and a few nice mechanical watches and they all do this to a certain extent. It's just a build up of sweat, skin oil etc. Usually I find it happens more at night when my wrist is warmer and expands a little bit more. It doesn't bother me but I do find if I move the watch up and down my wrist or take it off for a minute or so it returns to normal.

I have this as well. And it’s cold already where I live. It just immediately sticks to my skin when I strap it on my wrist, so I don’t think it’s from sweating. I find it mildly annoying, because I can’t adjust the watch a tiny bit without opening my watch band.

But I had this with my previous Garmin watches as well. So I just have a sticky skin apparently. Better than an extremely dry skin, I figured 😄

Every AW I’ve had from Series 1 through my current Series 9 has stuck to my skin. Sometimes I don’t notice and other times it’s really annoying. I’ve even tried things like applying natural aluminum-free deodorant on the skin where the watch sits, which didn’t help. I don’t think a Series 10 with more metal on the back would help me, because it seems to me that it’s mostly the sensor bump that’s sticking. My only solution is to wear my bands on the loose side (except while taking an ECG or o2 reading), so I can move it around and get unstuck, and removing my watch once or twice during the day and washing my wrist and wiping the back of the watch.
