Is it normal? new macbook pro screen defects?

Hi I just got new macbook pro 13
I have a question When I see the screen from different sides the color of screen seems different.
This is first time buying macbook so I am wondering if it is normal or not. Please tell me your opinion. Thank you

is that supposed to be just a gray screen? If so, those purple colors are really odd. I've had quite a few MacBook's in the past and currently, as well as other Apple monitors and have not seen this before. Not sure what it is. Still hard to tell from the photo, but I'd take it to an Apple Store to be looked at (if one is nearby). If not, I'd return it via mail and exchange.

OP, clearly you are not happy with the screen, id advise you return it . That front on shot does not look right, unless that is just the camera pickup up those purple colours
