I really like the idea of syncing the device through wifi. That way i don't have to wander around to grab my phone and cable to sync it. But, whenever i use wifi sync, it takes so long. like 30 minutes. :/ is it normal? of course it can be depending on the amount of data transferring, but i've never seen it goes more than even 5 minutes with the cable.

Do you backup via iTunes or iCloud?
Backing up to iTunes takes forever, specially if you have videos and whatnot (big app document data).

yeah I backup data every time i sync. That might be one of the reasons. But, i wonder why the wifi sync takes forever as the sync with a cable only takes a minute. :)

Thanks! SO, it's normal. :)

It's much faster to get the cable and sync the phone than wifi sync :p

But it's all about the comfort... of not having to plug and sync, all can happen just like that (unless you rely on your computer with iTunes library charging your iDevice).
Oh that and also those yummy wireless signals giving us cancer and whatnot ;)
