Hello. Just received the new MBP. The power brick of my old SR MBP is full of scratches. To prevent this from happening again, is it a good idea to let the plastic firm which wrapped around the power brick (when I took it out of the box) as is? Will it melt or cause problem later? Thanks.

It's fine to leave the plastic on. No melting occurs. I did for the past few weeks with a new power brick, until I needed to wrap up the cord on those little flip out legs, which can't be done unless you unwrap the plastic :(
