Hypothetical Question:
I am an non-iPhone O2 Pay Monthly customer and my contract is due for renewal. I go into an O2 store and upgrade to an iPhone tariff and buy a new iPhone 3G handset. I then continue to use my old Sony Ericsson handset and I sell my brand new iPhone handset. Is this possible/legal?

Possible = Yes
Legal = IANAL, but yes. O2 has your soul in a contract for xx months so as long as you can sale the iPhone for enough to cover the higher tariff and put a few pound in your pocket go for it.

People around the world are doing it already.

So if I sell a sealed iPhone 3G that I bye from an O2 store, if the buyer has a problem with the phone can they bring it into an Apple store or should I provide them with the original O2 store receipt?
