Is it ok to update Quicktime Pro with latest software update?

Recently purchased Quicktime Pro (7.4.5) for my Mac. Need to know - since I'm a newb at Pro - if it is also updatable using the current 7.5 version on software update. Is that update for all Quicktime versions, or just the non-pro one?

Yeah you'll be fine. Quicktime Pro keys apply to all versions of Quicktime released within a single version number.

A Quicktime Pro 7 key will be maintained for all versions of Quicktime 7, it will most likely not work for the upcoming Quicktime X due in "about a year." I can't guarantee it but that's what happened when we went from QT6 to QT7.

It's for all versions of QT. Pro just unlocks some features that are blocked until you pay.
