I can't go anywhere without my mud soap. It's great for my oily face. It's not liquid, but, it may look like a b-o-m-b material... the similar color and shape that I see in movies.

Would it be okay?

Pretty much if you have to question if it's okay, it's probably not.

Stupid world we live in, nowadays.

As long as its soap I don't see the issue. I wouldn't carry it anywhere suspicious though unless you want to be strip searched.

I don't think it'll be an issue.

But nonetheless, be sure to let us all know how it goes. :D

i just failed at interpreting that i thought mud soap meant it cleans ur butt and it was in the shape of a you know what...... hahah

Well im not 100% if it will be okay, didnt they suspend any kind of liquid carrying? I think I remember some one trying to create a bomb with like hair spray or something?

Best advice. If there is any question with it put it with your check bags. That is my rule of thumb.

As much as I hate to check my bag, I guess I have no other choice if I want to be safe and keep my expensive mud soap.

I, too, did not know what.

They are almost certainly going to regard your soap as a gel. You will want to treat it according to the liquid rules: carry 100mL or less in a quart plastic bag with any other liquids.

If your face soap happens to look suspiciously like C4 you'll have to be extra careful to save yourself a secondary screening. If possible, buy a small amount new and still in a factory wrapper. Most companies make air-friendly versions of their products now, so you'll probably be able to get your hands on it. Maybe consider not bringing the remainder back with you. On the other hand, they only see it through X-Ray, so it's unclear that it would look any different from any other kind of soap.

An alert TSA employee (and frankly what are the chances of that) might still get suspicious, but in that case they have chemical detectors that will fairly quickly show your soap is nothing alarming.

Chuck it in your hold baggage if you have any. If you don't - don't take it. Don't give the security control guys an even harder time than they're already having by taking things that will give them more work. Surely you could find a product to take it's place, at least temporarily, at a chemists at arrival?

OP, you will be fine.

Of note, the government will not start tracking you if you write bomb on a Mac related internet forum :p
