Just last week my MBP was super wobbly while typing. I looked under the computer and sure enough, the entire bottom side had a huge bump. Sent it in and Apple replaced the battery.

The only thing I can point to is this: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=33571. I started using this several months ago. I haven't had any problems, but ever since COVID-19, I have yet felt the need to unplug my MBP from the charger for at least a few weeks. Could this be the culprit?

It’d be extremely unlikely that something plugged into the computer would cause that. It was just time for your battery to fail.
