Hey y'all!
FireWire support has been completely removed from Tahoe. Due to my hobby, which is recording minidv home movies, i use FireWire a LOT. Because of this, i have to dualboot Sequoia or older on my M4 MacBook, which of course is not very convenient, not to mention the disk space it uses.

Apple probably won't care to add it back, but i couldn't find any workarounds to fix this. I already have SIP disabled because of third party kexts so are there any community made or modified Apple FW kexts from older macOS versions that i could load and use in a similar fashion or is it just the end of an era?

Thanks in advance.
