Is it possible to change the size of the gridview in Stacks?

I don't have a setting for that. (OS 10.5.8)
I tried scaling down the Dock, but the Grid View icons seemed to remain the same size, even though the Dock icons were smaller. I guess it would take something of a "hack" or some third party software.
