Is it possible to connect or sync music from computer to iphone?

Like the title suggests, I wonder if it is possible to somehow connect or sync some music from my computer or network so that i may hear it on the iphone wirelessly.

I hope this is the right forum.

I would like to be able to choose more that what I could possibly sync on the iphone for trips away from the computer.

Is there an application of some sort for mac or Windows (preferably on mac since I use the mac.)

That's what iTunes does.. could you be more specific? It sounds like you're asking for the obvious and I suspect you mean something else.

No, not at the moment. I guess someone (or apple) could write something that did this and put it on the appstore.

If the last.fm client gets ported (which is entirely possible) then that'll stream music directly.

i was talking about on the computer, i was thinking about like if you were away from home you could still sync it wired.

It looks like I have found an answer to my question. The only problem now is that it only works with linux.

Hopefully with software 2.0, some developer can make a software for the iphone.
Unless someone else can direct to something else that is in existence and that is simple to set up.

depends which wirelessly - you could broadcast your music as a radio station, or have it remotely accessible to stream?
