Is it possible to control an iPhone remotly via a cable?

Hi,

I have a little project where I would like to put my iPhone in a waterproof environement and display it on another screen via the cable. But I would like to know if there is a way to send the swipe, pinch, tap command remotely via another touch screen for example?

Nope, you could write an app that simulated the screens you want to use.

What would be the use of such a thing?

What about VNC? install vnc server on iphone and use a vnc client on another touch device. Although im not sure if its been updated to work on iOS6.

EDIT: it's called veency but i cant find the compatibility list thats been floating around here.
