Hello! When the new version of iTunes came out, it had two volume controls. I found that SO helpful, and then the update wiped it. So my question is -- is there another way within the computer to make that happen?

Thank you, mac wizards!

I'm running iTunes 11.0.1 and I have two independent sliders for volume controle: one is system-wide, and the other, in iTunes, just for iTunes.

Thank you, Ajanini. But I find that the overall computer volume, (top right,) also affects the iTunes volume.

That's true. So adjust the system volume where you want it, then adjust iTunes separately. You can't turn iTunes louder than the system volume, but you can turn it lower. Alternatively, if you use AirPlay speakers, you can adjust iTunes volume completely independent of your computer speakers.

Thank you...

My problem is the other way around -- I'd like to make iTunes louder. But obviously, it can't be done.

Thanks for your answers!
