I mean, I have a short clip which was taken, say, in 2015 but once imported on the hard drive took the date of the import, I can't seem to revert to the original data, is there a way, like for pictures, to change the data embedded as to manually revert to the original date?

Thank you

You can edit video metadata with the command-line tool ExifTool. I have never tried this:

http://libre-software.net/edit-metadata-exiftool/

http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/

However if all you want to change is the file date, this can be done using the Terminal "touch" command:
