Is it possible to enlarge the map in the Photos app?

I remember when using iPhoto, the map was "bigger" and showed more of my geotagged photos than with the Photos app's map. Not sure if that's because Apple made the switch from Google Maps to Apple Maps. Is there a way to maybe to decrease the resolution to increase the view or using any other method to show more of the map without scrolling?

I'm not sure what you're talking about. The Map literally takes up the entire window. You can (pinch) zoom in to see specific locations and get more delineated locations as you zoom.

Am I misunderstanding your question?
