Hi, I have a 5 months old Macbook and hardware-wise, it's been running great so far. :)

Yesterday, there seemed to be some dust gathering on the screen (I don't wipe them frequently) and I thought, oh okay, time to do some dusting.

And then I was dumbfounded by this one tiny dark spot. At first I thought that it was a dead pixel, but AFAIK, dead pixels will not happen over time. I mean, if it was crystal clear at the time of purchase, the screen won't develop any DPs for the rest of its life - at least not this soon.

But what made me doubt even more is the fact that this grey dot doesn't look like a square dot. It's more like a comma. Also, I tried to massage the area, but this dot somehow seemed to be "behind" the fluid.

Could it be that this dot is dust/ skin particle, stuck behind the LCD? Is such a thing likely?

Frankly, it's not much of a trouble since it's about at 1216 left and 264 from top - although it can be a little annoying when watching movies :D
