Is it possible to get unread notifications to the watch when the Phone and the Watch are reconnected

If the watch is disconnected from the Phone (e.g. out of range), and I get a new message to my phone, when the Watch is in range again and reconnect to the Phone, I want to see the incoming message in my watch.

Is it possible?

As far as I know its not possible, but I'd like it as that is a major annoyance for me too!

It doesn't, or didn't up until the update this week anyway
