Hi guys,

Was just wondering if the 13" MBP shares its VRAM with the system, is it therefore possible to increase the amount of VRAM available for the GPU to use?

Has anyone actually tried it? If so, would it be worth upgrading the base RAM to 8GB?

Would like to know if this is possible, and if not, why not (max. of 256MB for 320M?)

Thanks

May be a tweak you can do but I wouldn't suggest doing that unless you know what you're doing.

Not that I know of. Giving it more Vram will not make it better though, that gpu is limited by the processing power it has not by the amount of Vram. Its a common mistake to think that more Vram = better performance but that is just not how it is. If you need better performance there is only 2 ways your going to get that. 1 upgrade to a better GPU 2. Overclock it.
