See thread title. I haven't used OS X in a while, and I gotta say I'm not a fan of many of the changes introduced in Lion and Mountain Lion. Is it somehow possible to hack 10.6 to work on the 2013 Air? Anyone have any experience with previous 'incompatible' MacBooks and Snow Leopard?

Nope. 2012 and 2013 Macs will be incompatible with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard due to it missing drivers for that hardware. No hacks have been reported yet.

Yes - with a customized kernel and a few hackintosh tricks, it will install and it will boot. But there's no driver of its graphics card - Intel HD5000 for OS X 10.6, this means at very best, QE/CI will not be available, therefore many apps will run poorly. Keynote, iMovie, even Pages, to name a few.
