This is a great feature on Android which I'd like to replicate on the iPhone if possible. The Android Google Voice app has an option to "make only international calls" using Google Voice, which when you enter a non-U.S. phone number into the native dialer, automatically calls using Google Voice.

Currently on the iPhone I have to open the Google Voice app manually to call international numbers.

It is possible but only with a jailbreak as far as I know. I used to use it integrated on my iphone 4.

Bummer. Guess I can add that to the list of things that are better on Android

Hehe that's like using android and wanting iCloud access

I just use Google voice app instead of the native dialer, its not as pretty and slick but usable.
