My contract is up and I canceled my account, but now I miss my iphone, but I hate AT&T. However, I would like to still use my iphone for internet, maps, gps, etc, so is there anyway I could get just the data plan for the iphone?

actually, i have a deaf mother and inquired at my local AT&T store. They said you can have a data only iphone but you have to have the proper paperwork filled out by a doctor.

How would I go about obtaining the ipad microsim card?

You can usually pay $15 for it at any ATT store. They might give you a free ATT microSIM if you are a current ATT customer. They gave me a free (actually they gave me 2 free ATT microSIMs) at the corp. store.

Or you can ask for it at your local Apple Retail store.

I don't have a AT&T account anymore, but all I have to do is buy a microsim card for the ipad, put it into my iphone, call AT&T and activate it?
