then go to another playlist and listen for a bit, them come back to the 1st playlist and pick up where you left off (at the marked track)?

Specifically, I use my iPhone4s as an iPod, too, and always have at least one audiobook loaded in addition to music. At night, I listen to the audiobook while walking the dogs, folding laundry, etc. but when I got to bed, I dock my iPhone in my alarm clock and I have to go to a different playlist and select the song I want (or think I want) to wake up to the next morning. Problem: When I want to return to the audiobook, I have to remember where I left off...it does not seem to allow me to pick up where I left automatically.

Am I missing something?

Bummer

That would make life SO much easier in many instances, not just this one...how does one make this suggestion to Apple I wonder?!?!?

Thanks for your response, at least I know I am not just being stupid.
