All Devices Is it possible to omit a shared notes folder on on a device while maintaining it on another?

hi, i am sharing and collaborating a notes folder with someone with a 512gb iPad pro and a 128gb iphone, the problem is that this folder i over 35gb and while their iPad pro as the revenue to load it their iPhone maxed out to the point where they can't even load emails., is there a way to shut of syncing a shared or not folder on one device while maintaining it on another with th sam iCloud account?
