I have an iPhoto Library on an external Hard Drive that is connected to my iMac at home.

Is it possible for me to open up the iPhoto Library on my MacBook remotely?

I am a bit new to Back to My Mac. I have been able to do everything else that I have wanted to with Back to My Mac. I have been able to screen share and view all of the files that I listed as being available for share.

When I try to open the iPhoto Library file over Back to My Mac on my MacBook, I just receive the error "The iPhoto Library is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have permission to make changes to it."

Is there any way to get around that so that I can access iPhoto on this MacBook without having to screen share?

Thank you.
