Dear all

My printer is connected to my Mac Mini through the USB port and is shared with my MacBook Pro. I am on a large intranet and am worried about other people using my printer. Is it possible to password protect my shared printer?

Thanks in advance.

Not that I know of. As long as you don't have printer sharing on, you should be the only one that can print there. And if someone sees an unfamiliar printer, it's not like their going to print there.

Ok, thank you.

I am also thinking no one would want to print on an unfamiliar printer, but you never know. It should be possible to restrict, in my opinion.
