Using an emulator or something

I want to play that L.A noire and other games

because gameboy games require tremendously lot more graphical power than ps3 games like L.A. noire

oh wait...

OP....I am sure the roku box could run those games

But no, really...You think an iphone can play ps3 games? What on earth would lead you to believe the iphone can play modern console games? I mean gameboys are like 20 years old....and a handheld. PS3, not so much. Not even close

No way, the iPhone doesn't have the processing power to do that. BUT, there may be a way theoretically to have the game run from a PS3 and then stream to your phone, assuming both the PS3 and iPhone are jailbroken and both have the necessary software to do that. But I don't think that exists right now. Someone did this with the PC though, and got World of Warcraft to play on their iPad.

How come you can play nintendo games but not playstation

You can play Playstation (PSX) games via emulator. Which is on par or better than all the other systems that people have created working emulators for. Generally speaking there hasn't been much in the way of console gaming past the N64 that's been successfully emulated.

If you just look at specs (or cost) of components, it becomes pretty clear that while the iPhone can do some pretty impressive things, there's a good reason that people are still buying game consoles and haven't just given them up for cell phone gaming.

lol PS3 games on the iPhone, nice laugh in the morning. how are u supposed to control it and the battery would probably die after 5 minutes and the iPhone would shut down overheating

why would you want to play LA Noire on a 3 inch screen? The whole idea is you have to see their facial expressions to progress through investigations and such, it just wouldn't work on such a small screen - and I mean that in every sense

sigh
